Drawing on Life

Students majoring in Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration at Iowa State University engage in coursework that centers on Communicating Science Through Art.  Trained in the latest artistic techniques, visual design skills, and the business of being a visual communicator, BPMI majors become proficient in producing a broad range of digital and traditional artwork, including drawings, paintings, models, interactives, animations, and photographs, which are scientifically accurate and aesthetically pleasing.
